BC PNP wage-based draws (Innovate: High Economic Impact)

BC PNP has no separate high-wage stream. Every Skilled Worker candidate registers online and is scored out of 200; Innovate: High Economic Impact draws invite either by score or by the wage of the job offer. The 2026-09-24 wage draw required C$52 an hour and C$105,000 a year, in a TEER 0 to 3 job.

No separate high-wage stream

BC PNP Skills Immigration has two streams, Skilled Worker and Health Authority. The last technology priority draw was on 2024-12-03; since then high earners in technology and every other sector are invited through Innovate: High Economic Impact draws, and occupations on the former technology list remain eligible.

Registration and scoring

Every Skilled Worker candidate registers in BC PNP Online. Registration is free; it is scored out of 200 and enters the pool, and leaves it automatically after 12 months without an invitation. You may have only one active registration or application at a time. BC PNP may target invitations by education, language, occupation, work experience, wage or region, so the same registration competes on score and may also be invited on wage.

After the invitation

Submit a complete application within 30 days of the invitation; the deadline cannot be extended, and the registration leaves the pool once invited. The application fee is C$1,750, refunded only if you withdraw before BC PNP starts its assessment. About 80% of applications are decided within 3 months.

Once nominated, apply to IRCC for permanent residence before the Confirmation of Nomination expires. With the Express Entry BC (EEBC) option you accept the nomination in your Express Entry profile and receive 600 additional points; other nominees apply through the non-Express Entry process.
